EL CONTRATO INTERNACIONAL

Cuando hay un acuerdo de compraventa pactado entre dos o más partes domiciliadas en países distintos estamos frente a un contrato de compraventa internacional. En rigor, el acuerdo, aunque fuera exclusivamente verbal, sería suficiente. Pero "las palabras se las lleva el viento" y  es conveniente que un contrato esté documentado por lo menos en lo fundamental , y cuanto más importante o complejo sea el contrato, más documentado debería estar. El contrato de compraventa internacional (dejando de lado la posibilidad nada recomendable de que sea exclusivamente verbal) puede estar recogido en un único documento o bien estar compuesto por un intercambio de mensajes y formularios entre comprador y vendedor.
